Chip Night

I was interested in the different ways people eat a plate of chips - from the layering of the condiments to the way they pick apart their food.
I filmed people’s hand movements across their plates, then produced a series of typographic posters on used chip paper, a series of ‘hand mapping’ posters (where benday dots were construced from peas, mustard and ketchup blobs) and 46 chip monoprint illustrations.
